Ancient and contemporary sacred art on display at the National Museum of Sant’Angelo Castle in Rome, Italy, with the exhibition “Jubilee 2025. The Ways of Faith. Testimonies of Art and Thought” till June 30.

Organized by the European Center for Tourism, Culture and Entertainment, the exhibition at the National Museum of Castel Sant’Angelo explores the evolution of sacred art through the centuries, offering evidence of the relationship between society and the religious sphere over time.

Curated by Mariastella Margozzi with the collaboration of Stéphane Verger and Cardinal Angelo Comastri, the exhibition presents works ranging from ancient times to the contemporary, including artists such as Vittore Crivelli and Omar Galliani. From 16th-17th century painting to modern artists such as Domenico Morelli and Gaetano Previati , up to the search for a renewed spirituality in the second half of the 20th century with artists such as Mario Sironi and Giacomo Manzù .

The exhibition is open until June 30th, 2024
